This practice is a perfect complement to balance the more active, yang practices of Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Poses are held for longer periods of time facilitating deeper openings in the body and mind, preparing the student for meditation practice. By focusing on the deeper tissues of the body we are able to achieve new depths in postures, deeper ranges of motion, and an increased flow of energy. Appropriate for all levels.
